GolfBC wanted to deliver targeted special offers and a personalized online experience to its 30,000 registered users. The Level's itemized security allows for a high degree of personalization, allowing GolfBC to deliver relevant special offers dynamically within the body of a page based on an individual's profile and permissions. GolfBC can assign its registered users permission to access discount tee times and exclusive online special offers.
GolfBC needed to give non-technical staff at each course the ability to update web content easily. GolfBC has assigned responsibility for editing particular pieces of content on each site to the people who understand it most, the expert staff at each location. Using WYSIWYG editing tools and minimal training, these staff are able to keep the sites up to date without any coding or HTML knowledge. Changes are made in "Editing Mode" and may be previewed before being published to the live website.
GolfBC wanted to maintain control over content publication to ensure quality. While distributing content management tasks, GolfBC wanted to make sure that content was properly reviewed before being published. Utilizing The Level's built-in Workflow features, GolfBC's head office can streamline the publication process and all contributors can access a personal online "To-Do List" of tasks.
GolfBC needed to offer feature-rich websites with some custom applications to keep visitors coming back. Golfers can book tee-times online, and view hole-by-hole descriptions, tips, photo galleries and virtual tours for each course. Players can calculate their handicap using GameTracker and login for exclusive special offers on golf, lessons, merchandise, hotels and more.
GolfBC needed to deliver targeted emails to nearly 30,000 subscribers. With its old system, GolfBC sent the same online newsletter to all subscribers worldwide. Utilizing The Level's Email Manager, GolfBC now tailors the newsletter to each subscriber's region to make the content as relevant as possible. GolfBC can search for subscribers based on any user profile characteristics and send targeted email to that group.
